Therapy for ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD,
Highly Sensitive & Gender‑Diverse Neurodivergent Humans —
by Someone Who Gets It.

Show up authentically — you won’t be too much here.

A Space Designed for Neurodivergent Brains

This isn’t a typical therapy office.
My space is built for sensory comfort, safety, and authenticity:

  • Soft lighting only — no bright overheads

  • Cozy textures, blankets, and pillows

  • A rocking chair for stimming

  • Fidgets, sensory tools, weighted options

  • No forced eye contact (seriously, look anywhere)

  • You can sit, stand, stim, move around, or lie on the floor

  • You don’t have to mask here

  • You don’t need to “be professional” or “hold it together”

Your natural way of being is welcomed and supported.

Who I Support

*

Who I Support *

I work with neurodivergent people of ages (12+) who want a therapist who actually understands their brain.

This includes:

  • ADHD & ADD

  • Autistic & AuDHD

  • Highly Sensitive People (HSP)

  • Gifted/2e

  • Gender‑diverse & queer neurodivergent folks

  • Anyone who has been misunderstood, dismissed, or overwhelmed in typical therapy

If you’ve felt “too much,” “too intense,” “too emotional,” “too sensitive,” or “not human” you are in the right place.

My Approach

  • I don’t try to make neurodivergent people act neurotypical.
I work with your brain, not against it.

    • Collaborative, not top‑down

    • Paced to your nervous system

    • Sensory‑aware

    • Honest and direct

    • Humour-friendly

    • Flexible

    • Trauma‑informed

    • Masking‑free

  • I’m ADHD and Autistic myself.
I get the double empathy problem — which means you don’t have to translate your experience to me.
    We speak the same language.

Hi, I’m Alexandra

Hello!

I’m a neurodivergent therapist (ADHD, Autistic, HSP) who works exclusively with neurodivergent people.

I know what it’s like to grow up misunderstood, to mask until it hurts, and to be told to “just try harder” when your brain is wired differently.

I built Kurth Counselling to be the space I always needed — warm, accepting, sensory‑friendly, and grounded in real neurodivergent experience.

Therapy with me is real, human, and deeply validating.

You don’t have to hide the parts of yourself that other people found “too much.”
Here, they make sense.

The Space

A calming, cozy, sensory‑aware environment where you can stim, fidget, rock, and just be yourself.

How Sessions Work

Sessions are flexible and adjusted to your sensory and emotional needs.

  • In‑person in Saskatoon

  • Virtual sessions across Canada (Phone or Video Call)

  • 50‑minute sessions

  • Come as you are — camera on or off, stim, move, sit on the floor, bring fidgets, whatever you need

    • No eye-contact required

Ready When You Are

If you’re neurodivergent and looking for a therapist who gets it — I’d love to meet you.
